YMCA Camp Mason is situated on 600 acres of
woodland, adjacent to the 64, 000 acre Delaware Water Gap National
Recreation Area, in Northwestern New Jersey. Our property features
miles of trails winding through forests, streams and lakes. There
is never a shortage of things to do, and our facilities are designed
to ensure a comfortable stay.
From its founding in 1900, Camp Mason has been
providing outdoor opportunities for schools and groups. Every year
at the Outdoor Center we host thousands of people, in groups of
25-400, for a range of programs including conferencing, outdoor
education, retreats, campouts, team building, family camps at our
American Camping Association accredited site from late August to
mid June.
We can do as little or as much as you need to make
your camp experience a success. Leave everything to our fully trained
staff or use our facilities to run your own program. We have a wide
range of programs and a full inventory of equipment for educational
and recreational experiences, and we can accommodate a range of
special needs and interests. And don’t forget winter! With
cross country skis and a fantastic sled hill available, it’s
a great time of year to be at camp, and major downhill ski areas
are only 40 minutes away.
If you are a school administrator or teacher with
a class or group of students who are looking for an Outdoor Education
opportunity learn more about the Outdoor Center in our Schools
section. There is information on our facilities, class options,
a sample schedule and a sample menu. There’s bound to be a
school in your area that visits Camp Mason. View the list of current
schools for possible references.
If you are a group leader, a scout leader, a club
leader, a youth minister, an advisor, a YMCA leader or a conference
organizer looking for a retreat location, visit our Groups
& Conferences section for more information. You can
learn about our facilities and meeting spaces as well as our recreation
and team building program options.
Camp Mason family camps provide a wonderful
opportunity to get away from it all and spend quality uninterrupted
time with your family in a beautiful setting. With activities available
all weekend and your meals cooked for you, your only worry is what
to do first! Whether you choose to relax and enjoy the peaceful
setting or scale to the top of the climbing wall, the weekend will
certainly be one to remember. To learn more about our family camps,

Camps section.
